Not Everything In Life Has a Spiritual Meaning

When you step into the spiritual space and start growing your connection it's easy to look for the "Sign" in everything. But the truth is, life still happens. The human experience is a series of free-will choices affecting each other like a ripple in a pond. Our choices never stop energetically vibrating, and sometimes we get caught in the movement of someone else choice, or a free-will choice of our own.
A little story time for you: The other day I was having a magnetic day. One of those days where you go for a drive, put on your favorite song, and feel totally present in the moment. Just as I was sitting in the full bliss of it all someone side-swiped my car. My brand new car that I had worked for and saved for for years was now very damaged.
My very first thought was to ask my angels, why? What did this mean? What were they trying to tell me, what lesson had I missed? And the answer I got really surprised me: Nothing. The human experience is messy and unpredictable. Not everything is divinely sent or designed. You need a balance of both in order to fully honor the choice of coming to this energy plane and having a human lifetime. It wasn't a lesson I'm supposed to learn, it wasn't something I energetically drew to myself. It was one moment where someone else free will choice quite literally crashed into me.
The take away: Something has meaning if you let it. It can be a moment that passes as soon as it came or it can be the start of a spiral that you allow yourself to go down. Truth be told, this came at a moment in my life where lack mentality was starting to creep back in for me. I decided that I wouldn't allow this to spiral any longer. I decided to do a manifestation exercise calling in that the person's insurance would cover everything, that it would be a painless process and that my car would return to me as beautiful and as whole as the day I bought it.
Two days after the accident I received an email that the person who collided with me's insurance company were assuming full liability. AN INSURANCE COMPANY CLAIMING RESPONSIBILITY AND MOVING QUICKLY?!?! Unheard of right? But it's true. That's exactly what happened. The situation had the room to amicably and quickly resolve because I didn't give my negative feelings or thoughts power. I didn't complicate it or over-dramatize it. I moved out of the way to let it resolve and took all the actions I needed to to get the process moving at a pace that was right for me.
What if it didn't manifest that way?...There have been many moments in my life where the manifestation hasn't come together exactly as I hoped it would. In this case it would have been a lot harder to stay high-minded. But, at the end of the day regardless of how it all shakes out it's still supposed to be a passing moment, not a defining one.
So I say this to you: decide how much power something is going to have in your life. Decide that no matter what, you're not going to let free-will choices and experiences alter your course or your growth. Let yourself feel the anger, frustration or sadness and then make the choice to let it leave you.
